Did you know that, According to a recent Gallup poll, this is the first time since the 1930’s that the number of Americans who describe themselves as affiliated with a church, synagogue, or mosque has fallen below 50 percent? Worse yet, another survey has concluded that about 1500 pastors and other religious leaders leave the ministry every single month. 1500!

Jim Cymbala has been the pastor of the renowned Brooklyn Tabernacle for the past five decades. During our conversation, we discussed his brand-new book, Fan the Flame, which was born from his desire to encourage church leaders and their flock to stay focused on their God-given assignments.

The conversation revealed baffling information to me, and as a person called into ministry, I could not wait to dive into this book.  By the way, pastor Cymbala is giving a copy of his book to one of my followers.
